Several Minneapolis council members have are considering a proposal that would amend the city’s civil rights ordinance to state that income source is protected. This effectively makes it illegal for owners to not accept Section 8. See the full story here. Here are Rental Management Guys, we do accept Section 8 very regularly. Currently about 40% of our properties have some sort of subsidy like Section 8 or other.
